Tom Venuto

Born on August 6th, 1968, Tom Venuto’s career in weight loss has been that of a personal journey. When he was younger, Tom Venuto was not the healthiest little boy, he was considered obese and extremely overweight by peers. As Tom reached high school, he decided to do something about it and started working out with weight training.
This maintained Tom’s weight up until college and although Tom was studying Adult Health and Fitness in college, he was barely practicing what he was studying. The stress that came with a fast lifestyle and college exams caused Tom to develop bad eating habits. It was only by the third year of college that Tom decided enough was enough, he need to change and get his body in a lean and muscular machine. He dropped his fast food eating habits and traded it for healthier meals and focused his attention on nutrition and weight training workouts.
This spurred Tom on to more fitness challenges and so in his final year of college, Tom entered in his first body building competition and won second place. By the end of that year Tom Venuto has also graduated from a bachelor of Science in Adult Health/Fitness (Exercise Science) from the Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania.
After completing college college, Tom went on to competing in more bodybuilding competitions and later became the co-owner of the Empire Fitness Club which had over 11,000 members in 4 locations in the United States. He is still a consultant to the club this very day.
Since 1999, Tom Venuto has contributed significantly to the weight loss industry by becoming an expert freelance writer specialising in publishing health, fitness, weight loss, fat loss and bodybuilding information.
